We are the third oldest continually existing cricket club in South Australia, the first game involving our club took place on 18 October 1867.

In 2024-25 Brighton will be fielding 5 Senior Men's teams, 1 Over 50's team, 19 Junior Boys, 3 Junior Girls teams and a Women's team in collaboration with Glenelg DCC.
