Brighton Cricket Club is hosting a Bash for Cash Cricket Tournament on Australia Day (Friday 26 January) to raise funds and awareness in support of a local family battling cancer.
The event aims to raise $5000 for the Childhood Cancer Association.
The day will start at 10am on 26 January at Highet Ave, Hove, and feature a senior and junior T10 cricket tournament on Brighton's two ovals, culminating in finals from about 4.30pm.
A charity auction will be held from 4pm featuring sought after items including signed guernseys from the Adelaide Crows, Port Adelaide Power and Adelaide Strikers and cricket memorabilia signed by some od.
Raffles will also be held throughout the day with a host of great prizes on offer.
There will be fun activities and competitions for young cricketers, a dunk tank and guest appearances from some of our favourite SA Sport Stars.
Food and drinks will be available all day, including a barbecue lunch and dinner upstairs cooked by our new caterers Voulas Mediterranean.

The Childhood Cancer Association provides practical support to children and their families through counselling, accommodation, respite, sibling support, financial assistance and advocacy. Your donations go directly to help those families.
